Any of you know anything or have any experience with these guitars ?
Saw a real nice one in the shop locally just the other day but did not have time to feel her up properly.
She has been on my mind ever since.
Read some good reviews on line ... but don't have much faith in reviews.
What say ye ?

I was looking thru a GC advertisment the other day and I saw an Epiphone Les Paul that looked pretty nice I think it was going for $749.00
which is high for an Epi but it had some piezo pickups in addition to the standard upgraded pickups that allowed this guitar to get acoustic sounds. It also has an onboard tuner needless to say I started to salivate and break out in cold sweats!

ESP's own website states that their guitars are built by " master crastmen " in Japan.
The LTD line however are mass produced in places like Korea and China.
I don't know ... I think when I do venture out for a new guitar it should be something totally different from what I presently own or play.
Perhaps this or something similar.

Sans you should check out some of those Carvin guitars. Our bass players main ax is a Carvin and he has at least 6 basses. His go to bass IS a CARVIN! Just sayin!

the carvin fatboy , & semi hollow bodies really look nice to me & there are lots of really nice guitars out there used /semi -vintage . the nice thing about that is your not losing money the moment you take possession. like 80s -early 90s in the 1500-2500 range that new would sell for 3000-4000. with good care & a little luck the axe will maintain value or pos even increase.

The problem with used guitars is I am really not learned enough to keep from getting burned in purchase.
Guns I know ... I can tell by feel if they have been altered or damaged.
Guitars ... I am still learning.

Thanks for the input.
I finally did buy an EPI BLACK BACK ... So far I am
very pleased.
Especially considering the difference in price to what I paid for my Gibson.

As long as it doesn't use those pseudo-green plastic tuners, you are a-ok.
Even so, people tear off those crap tuners and upgrade to grovers and/or replace stock pickups and you have a solid LP.
(i had those tuners on an epi sg and it drove me nutzzzz)
