I have a 1976 12 string Takamine that I love and would like to add a pick up. The soundhole pick ups I've tried just don't compare to the sound of my 6 string Takamine that has a factory installed pick up. I've been hearing a lot of about LR Baggs Elements and iBeams. Any advice would be appreciated.

That's a very large can of worms. New pickup/preamp systems are coming out constantly.
