a few folks asked to hear my chorus clone on acoustic... so I've added an acoustic song on my profile titled 'dee_by_mee'.
please let me know what you think.

I guess I'm just a dumb ass when it comes to the effect of effects.
Just sounds like an acoustic guitar to me.

well, in this scenario the chorus is pretty subtle... so I wouldn't be too hard on yourself. if i were to turn it off and on while I played I think you'd def hear the dif. Thanks for listening.

I listen because I'm interested and you are by all counts, knowledgeable about such things.
I am more or less the defacto sound man for our band.
( with a lot of help from Floyd)
So the more I learn and understand, the better.

right on...
the chorus was originally designed to make one guitar sound like two guitars (hence the name chorus).
you know how when you record the same riff two times the two tracks end up being slightly different? well a chorus sort of emulates that effect.
I'm simplifying a bit but basically, your signal is taken and delayed by just a few milliseconds... similar to a delay... then that signal is fluctuated closer and farther in time from the original, the distance to and fro is controlled by a depth knob and the speed set by the speed knob.
ends up as a sort of 'shimmering' effect.

Oh I knew it was R. Rhoads.
The player fuct up and was playing your music from the beginning, so I listened to all of it and then DEE seemed ? out of character for you.
(yellow triangle doesn't fit in the red circle hole) lol

tbh it's not really out of character at all... I'm just all over the place. I know a lot of classical and fingerstyle... but I'm primarily a blues/country guy now... altho I used to be a metal guy in my younger days. jack of all trades master of none I guess.
