I've spent the last 8 hours trying to solve a technical issue and wondered if anyone could help me. I connected my keyboard to my macbook (OS 10.5.
via a Yamaha UX16 Midi interface and while it says that it is detected in Garageband it simply will not record or play. I had no problems with my old mac and am wondering if this is a driver issue. I have downloaded the latest driver and fiddled with it in the Utilities section and scoured every manual I could find following every instruction down to the last sentence. and while it says that the device is detected there it will not work. Has anyone else had this issue or know of a solution?
