sans ,if your lookin for speakers for your new amp heres some of my suggestions :celstion vintage 30s (tend to sweeten up the amp ) ,g12h30( a little more bite ) eminece man o war (a little bite with a little more "chunk on the bottom ") . Iv'e been using the g12h30s , but just bought 2 eminence man o war like them a lot ,only $85 ea & are higher power rated than the 30s . I use a 212 marshall cab with my little 20 watter. its just my opinion but sealed cabinets are less susceptible to room conditions , but are very directional . where as open back is less directional but more variable w/ stage conditions . If you set up even with the drummer hes more likely to hear you with an open back. closed back the drummer might not hear you but your sound from stage to stage will be more consistent. its alway a trade off so ......

Thanks for the link.

Carvin makes matching 1x12 or 2x12 cabs in the Vintage series.

They can be ordered with the Celestion Vintage 30 speakers installed.

I have the VL12-8 in my Nomad cab and the way it is constructed ( open back as well ) I need only unplug the speaker from the Nomad's amp output and plug my VT16 in.

Kind of handy to have the back up amp built in.
Though it's pretty heavy to tote around just for the speaker's sake.
