But on a serious note: You did a killer job there Mike on teching out your issue and I must say that the outcome is impressive. I myself never had the BALLS to try that because I was always told not to by professional techs. It must be VOODOO...

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that every gtr you have has a locking nut... no? those locking nuts are usually done with such precision that you really don't need to mess with them... They're not really subject to 'blow outs' and aren't typically manufactured with the same precision... so I've never messed w any of mine. I'd guess that that is why 'your dude' told you not to mess w it.

I play with my other nutz all the time. Then again I've been playing with my nutz for the better part of the 24 years that I've been 'goofing around' with guitars.
During that time I've even played with other ppuls nutz... and they paid me good honest american money.

so: long story short... I like nutz... specifically -playing with nutz.
