Ok,

I have a mim Fender 60th anniversary strat that I recently had setup and I found I like it enough to keep it.

I want to stick it in a Fender 60th Anniversary hard shell case.
You know, the silver bastard with the diamond logo and red interior.

What I want to know is does the bastard fit in it?

I asked one entity and it told me it is for P-bass only.
I told it I knew but would my strat fit in it physically?
It didn't know but it loved to pretend that it did.

Anyone here know for sure? It's a nice case and a deal from a private seller. I just don't want to drive all over with my strat just to find out it doesn't fit.

I mean, one would figure that it would fit no problem especially if it fits a fender p-bass.

Anyone?

Ok, I saw one up close and personal.

The case is a little big (by about 8") but definitely doable.

Now I just have to find one under 1,000,000,000 $. lol

Just snagged one for 76$ + shipping.

I highly recommend it !!!

addendum:

There are 2 models, 1 that fits the p bass and one for the strat/tele.

The p bass model can hold the strat/tele, it's just not a great fit.

And you know I got the one that fits the p bass for my strat.



Eh I'll roll up a towel and stick it in, problem solved.
