I am looking for a couple of switches, a Kustom 1 button foot switch to control reverb AND a 2 button Fender foot switch with RCA ends to control rev/vib.

The Kustom has a 1/4" and the 2 button fender has 2 rca's.

If you are selling one or both on the cheap, please let me know.

(I can get them locally for top dollar, so please don't put me through that)

I pay in cash or trade, depending on what I have and what you need.

-S.

And I didn't need to post this in every damn forum know to bandmix.

I'm quite sure people would be sick to death of reading the same crap over and over again.

Unfortunately you're not likely to find many floating around used. I looked for one for my Peavey MX for a long time before I finally found one. Then had to rewire the thing to match the DIN plug on the amp.

I found loads of footswitches in music stores, usually people who buy an amp for their kid and think he/she will never need the footswitch. The one I finally got came from a pawn shop. Never did find any in newspaper want ads, flea markets, yard sales...all my favorite places to find cheap stuff.

You can also build one without a lot of trouble, it's just a on/off switch soldered to a plug. I built one years ago for my practice amp, (also had to wire a bypass plug into the amp). I used a dead effects box, old 110V phase shifter that would shock you when you turned it on so I yanked the guts out and wired the on/off switch to the guitar jack on the side, bypass jack in the amp and used a guitar cable for the wire.

Project boxes are available at electronic supply stores, as well as the switch and jack needed. A metal box would be advisable, since it will be abused. Wiring is as simple as it gets. Once you know where ground is, it's dead simple. Fender uses braided shield type wire.

One note...never plug in the footswitch on a Fender amp while the amp is turned on. I fried my reverb unit that way, had to replace it. $35 I would much rather have spent on other things...
