Do they get an email advising them someone has contacted them? Or do they just get a notice when they log in to the site?

I have contacted 4 local people with no response, was thinking maybe they have forgotten about the site/listing and no longer remember their log in. Would they still get a notice?

As long as their email address is up to date, they will receive an email notification that they have a message waiting for them on BandMix.

I believe the notification they receive has the bandmix.com web address to log into. Again, as long as their email address is still valid, then can do the "Forgot Password" thing to have their old password emailed to them.

I'd love to hear someone verify this. I've only been a member for a couple of days, but I sent about ten messages out, and no returns. I understand people may just not dig the tunes, but since I had some odd hiccups when I signed up, I fear they may not be receiving messages.

Has ANYONE gotten contacted by another member of bandmix?

Yep. And I'm one of the poor members who can't afford "Premium."

I am new too, and I think you can contact people if you have premium but if you dont give them the info to respond, such as an email address or phone number, they will not be able to respond back to you if they dont have premium.

nah, as it turns out you can reply if you have a regular membership. problem is membership is pretty light/outdated (at least in my area), so the return rate isn't that useful. With so many musician social network sites out there I don't think one has surfaced yet that can pull enough useful traffic away from generic classified sites like Craigslist or MySpace.

when you receive a message, bandmix emails you.

so unless they dont check their email, then theres no way they missed it.
