I play with a rock combo ( djembe, guitar and flute ). surprisingly we sound pretty cool. I made the suggestion of doing and instrumental version of "Manic Depression" where I would play the vocal part on flute. The guys agreed to grant me my request...I am so excited!!!

Hey guys & gals. I've got an instrumental cover up here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYV1jlhj4Wc
U can also find the full band version of that cover on my page as well.
while you're there, check out my other vids and let me know what you think. (they are all covers. Too afraid to put orig songs on the internet for fear of getting ripped off----until I find a band, that is.) Thanks!

I just saw the Trans-Siberian Orchestra yesterday and they brought out "Hall of the Mountain King" from the Savatage closet as a tribute to their late guitarist Criss Oliva. I loved it. Criss was a great guitarist, and is missed by his fans.

Right now I'm really into "Rhythm, Chord, & Melody" by The Reign of Kindo and "Wedding Nails" by Porcupine Tree. There are definitely some other awesome ones out there, too, new and old.

Not a big fan of most of his work but "Soothsayer" by Buckethead is pretty amazing.

Metallica" Call of Ktulu" was great.

I saw someone said Moonlight sonata but, if you want a truly rousing instrumental by beethoven you have to go with "The Tempest"

Also I'm a big fan of Steve Steven's "Duende"
