In the eighties I used to say I wish I had grown up in the 60's. Then the nineties happened and I was grateful to have my own generation of ground breaking cool artists.
Here is what I call a great example of what made the 90's cool.

Yep, sans, it's a 2 string, & it works very well for the song.

Take that you 5 & 6 stringers!

Nice piece, that, Paul. Tnx!

Ok Ok thats some good stuff, but I say if that sax would take a break and we could sneek Mike or Crip off in there. YES. But what do you expect from a guitar player?

Yeah, I always look at the 90's as a decade of musical freedom in rock. Despite what your opinion might be on the general level of the musicianship for that decade, a lot of great trails were blazed.
I also always compare the 90's to the 70's in that, there are lots of songs that you can remember when they come on, and probably even sing along with, but damned if you can remember who the band was.
But, it might just be that I'm a little out of the age bracket for remembering 70's bands.

^ My steel trap is kickin'. I remember a lot of artists and songs from the 50's - 60's most from the 70's through the 90's and a lot from 2000 - . I used to watch Rock n Roll jeopardy and KILLED 99 percent of the time.
