www.Michael Sadler.com.....he's the singer..i think there are links to saga there. my computer aint so great. i had a hard time getting music and forum access. they had a couple f/m radio songs in the late 70's and 80's......Wind him up and Catwalk. canadian based progressive rock thats pretty synth oriented. the guitar player is pretty cool..alot of notey runs... his last name is Crichton..Ian i think..good luck researching...try and keep me posted

I used to work at Kalua Music on Kingston Rd. in Toronto from 1974-1977. Saga came in when they were ready to do their first bar gigs to rent a P.A. system. While all this was going on Ian Crichton went into the "sound room" beside the rental department to blast through some of the amps (now remember, this is well before Van Halen released their first album) and he started with the tapping. Me and my buddy Lee looked at each other and went "what the f**k is THAT"? We immediately stopped gathering the P.A. gear together and went into the room where this wild sound was coming from to see just how the hell he was doing it!
