If you mean, the fast [second] solo, then yes. The first [slower] solo is played by Hetfield though.

I have listened to Duane Allman and Ritchie Blackmoore before, I'm actually a huge Deep Purple fan! I love the Allman Brothers, and I love the slide guitar solo Duane plays in "Layla"!

I'm not too familiar with Johnny Winter (although I have heard of him), or Alvin Lee........

Man there are so so many great guitar solos... but for me... the one that always gives me chills due to structure, feel, technique and some shredding without over doing would have to be both of Jake E Lee solos in Bark at the Moon...

Just fantastic... fits the song, fits the mood, technical, feeling... its all there...
For me... that's the sh*t..
