KISS Alive, the first one. I bought this son of a bitch as a record, 8 track, cassette and CD. I still love it "You wanted the best and you got it, the hottest band in the land KISS" then the intro to Deuce. I never figured out what a deuce is but I still love the song. I guess Im going to have to buy the download now!

Rush All The Worlds A Stage is another favorite.

Lately Ive been listening to Dream Theatre, I think its live at the Budakan.

Best Live Album Hands Down is "GN'R Live Era". The Second would be "If You Want Blood You Got It"

Two live recordings that I "wish I had a nickel for every copy sold'' are "Woodstock"and "Framton Comes Alive".

What I would rather "actually listen to" is MTV's "Nirvana Unpluged".

As much as I was never a Nirvana fan, there are actually a couple of great songs on that performance. "My Girl (Where Did You Sleep Last Night?)" is one of them.

Then again, Clapton's "Unplugged" was good too.

Irmy,
The tune you mentioned, also known as "In The Pines",I believe to be an old Leadbelly song.I seem to recall a version in the 60's by "The Nashville Teens".Gave me chills then and still does. A great song is a great song no matter who is playing it.

I meant to correct myself here, I said The Black Album, I confused what was asked. You said live album, well my favorite live album would probably be... I will go with Frampton Comes Alive. I do not know how many songs I know off of it, lol. But it is the only live album I can think of at this moment, I will edit this if I think of any more I liked.

Peace out guys, sorry for the mistake above, GuitarAnatomy.

Made in Japan - Deep Purple
Closely followed by Live and Dangerous by Thin Lizzy

Those are both great live albums; I saw Purple in 1972 and that was basically the same show. I also saw Thin Lizzy open for the original AC/DC, what a show that was.
