I don't know if this counts, but this Thai song I've been listening to (according to my thai friend) have a very creative twist to it. The song is basically a love song, but from the perspective of a character from the epic poem Ramayana, describing his sorrow from being forced to test his wife purity by having her walk through flames after she have been held hostage within the city of Orges for a long time during the War.
