Of course!! I love Extreme. Nuno is a freakin' INCREDIBLE guitarist. Some of his other projects are Mourning Widows and his latest is Dramagods. I absolutely love the III Sides album from Extreme. The song "Rise 'n Shine" is most excellent. If you dig his style, there's a guitarist named Dominic Cifarelli who's soloing bares a striking resemblence to Nuno's at times as far as his picking and phrasing goes. Check out his latest solo project called The Chronicles of Israfel. Listen to the song in this video and see what you think:

i never even heard about the band until i stumbled upon an old cassette and popped it in the tape player i had.

I hear ya! III SIDES TO EVERY STORY. That album is awesome!! My fave by far! That album recieved alot of bad reviews from the critics.
I love that album! There are sooooo many styles on there and the production is fantastic!

Nuno Bettencourt is automaic dude!

Weren't they the ones who did that cool 12-string song "Whole-hearted?"

Liked it a lot, but never heard anything else they did (if that was indeed the band I'm thinking of)

"More than words" is there signature tune. It still gets play on adult contemporary radio. Sweet harmonies! Great acoustic work.

I know this is an older thread, but I just HAD to reply! I LOVE Extreme! Don't listen to them as much I did in the '80's but I loved 'em then and will still turn it up when they come on now. Nuno was a great guiatrist...I am a big fan of acoustic-style music like what they had. Not much around like that now...
