Posted: Tue Aug 18, 2009 1:11 pmIan Paice and Deep Purple between 1970-75, In Rock changed my musical taste for life and I just HAD to be a drummer after listening to Made in Japan on a ratty old portable tape player in '73. These guys could improvise forever and still sound great. Many have had an influence since - but these were the first.

Posted: Mon Nov 16, 2009 5:54 amBad Religion probably, I have other real close ones but Bad Religion was the 1st real band I got into. As a vocalist Geoff Tate and Rob Halford are my biggest influences, but Bad Religion taught me great lyrics and vocal hooks.

Those are some bad mother`s, Phil from Pantera,&Rex brown same,Kurt W.from Krobar,Jimmy Bowers from EYE-HATE-GOD and my boy Pepper J. Keenan!! All from NO.LA.(NOLA) Can`t touch`em with a ten foot gold pole !! Hands down two of the most underated band`s out there!! Major influence on my style. It`s like mixing Sabbath & Skynyrd with better equipment & technique !!! These guy`s live "r" friggin awsome both bands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
