That's pretty tight. How's the metal scene in Ontario? This is my band Color of Aum, we are from Dallas, TX.

This is not the best place to find general fans - its more for the bands and musicians.
Start a Reverbnation profile if you haven't got one yet.

lol Reminds me of all the chattel that begs for people to go to their soundclick/reverbnation/myspace page and listen to their tunes for counter hits.

You cannot work the street for fans, you must go out and play.
Then they'll come.

I.E. Our reverbnation site is about DOA.

I played informally without Les at an open mic and mentioned our soundclick and reverbnation site, among other things. Today we are up from 28 views to 102, rank changed from 573 to 464 and 4 widget impressions from 0.

Kind of insignificant change to me but I just got an email about opening for another band at an auditorium in Philly this fall.

In other words, do not beg for fans, hits or whatever.
Go out there and do what you do.

If you are a musician, you MUST play to survive.
These sites are grand and fine ok whatever, but they won't pay the bills and you have to actually perform else you are nothing but "lip service".

Thanks for the input everyone. Just trying everything possible at this point. We just came out with our album and playing around the Dallas metroplex is costing us more than we are making. Sure we sell merchandise and albums, but gigs do not pay much at all and venues take almost all of the ticket presale money if their is one. The starving artist in a nutshell haha.
