Nothing. Apparently, I quit listening at least a year ago (I'm guessing). It wasn't a conscious decision. I started thinking about it when this originally posted, and honestly, I've just stopped turning on the radio, I don't have any idea where my CD's are, I don't watch MTV or VH1 or any of those (not that they actually play much music anymore). The only "outside" music I've been listening to comes straight from the folks right here on Bandmix. Otherwise, I'm kind of at a point where I'm burned out on the old stuff and I can't stand the new. Commercialism really sucks sometimes.

Dream Theater- Systematic Chaos and Octavarium...I attempted Snakes and Arrows again today. The songs just run together. The new Rush almost makes no melodic sense. I'm sorry, I so am....I was a huge Rush fan at one time.

I've been feeling out a few artists; Joel Plaskett Emergency, MGMT, and Tegan and Sara. But what I tend to really want to listen to these days is Regina Spektor, Tom Waits, Arcade Fire, Ani Difranco, The New Pornographers, and Sigur Ros.

Ouch, sans! Good luck with that!

I'm listening to "Turning Japanese" over & over to learn it. It's driving me mad.

I think I'd rather be Chinese or Thai or a Mongoloid or ANYTHING but Japanese at this point in time!
