Hands down - Duane Allman...if he would have lived beyond 24 years old, this wouldn't an issue.

I would have to say that this is a matter of opinion. I think the best guitar players of all time are the ones who influenced me the most: Jimmy Page and David Gilmour. Oh, I also have to include a high school classmate Dave (Ace) ..... He unwittingly gave me the inspiration to play.

Steve Hackett is my personal favorite, i've never seen anyone who plays quite like Steve. He makes it look efortless and his music awesome. Great progressive rock.

TOOOOOO Many to choose from ? Stevie Ray and Dimebag and Randy Rhoads ? Jimi Hendrix, Terry Kath, Tommy Bolin ? And that's just a few of the guys who have been deceased for awhile.
