easy one! Europe'72, Grateful dead. Almost 40 years later, still one of the best live albums ever. Ranks up there with Little Feat's Waiting for Columbus which would be my second favorite.

Technically it's not completely 'Live' Bro dude ...
Many vocals are overdubbed and some keys are added also.
But !
I concur that E 72 is one fine album !
The ultimate version of 'China Cat ' !

First album I bought, I was 12 years old and in the 6th grade "Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath"

So hard to say my favorite band is such and such, I guess anything hard rock - metal

Favorite song of all time is Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird

That album works well in my head when I'm tuning. It gives me a place to go and listeners get entertained as they follow The Discovery.

Iwish I could say my first album purchase (when I was 12), was something cool like Black Sabbath. I'm not going to tell you a lie and say it was. I'm just not going to tell you Ben.

philbymon wrote:I really got into 'Phish' for while...A Picture Of Nectar, Hoist, & Lawn Boy were my favorites.

I still like the Floyd stuff, & I really did enjoy Trouble In The Henhouse, too, SP. Claim, by 'Not Drowning, Waving,' was another fave.

I think the most played albums in my collection are Genesis' The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway, The Beatles' Anthologies, some Marillion stuff, Chris Isaak, Floyd, & Cat Stevens' LPs.
Hey, Philbymon, Never heard of Phish. Is he a BASS player? Should I look for it on shelves?
