I'll give you a phrase from a song. Your job? Guess the title, the artist, & the album, Bonus points for the year it was released...

No googlin'!

These aren't all #1 hits, but they are mainstream, off of well-known albums by well-known artists.

#1 - "Feeling alone the army's up the rode salvation à la mode and a cup of tea."

#2 - "Erogenous zones, I love you. Without you what would a poor boy do?"

#3 - "Oh and see a man at the back as a matter of fact His eyes are as red as the sun"

#4 - "I feel like I'm pounding on a big door. No one can hear me knocking"

#5 - "The crops we grew last summer weren't enough to pay the loans;
Couldn't buy the seed to plant this spring and the Farmers Bank foreclosed."

My fave is definitely #2! I'll never forget the 1st time I heard that song. I giggled like a schoolgirl! It still makes me smile biggly, & it's from one of the best albums ever written, imho.

So far there's two figgered out. Good job, jimmy! (except I think Aqualung was 1968) I know this ain't easy...
