gotta love him, music wouldnt be the same if not for him. i saw a poster not too long ago and it summed up (for me at least) how i feel about bob dylan. it had a picture from a recording studio where from left to right there was bob dylan, neil young, and eric clapton and they were engaged in conversation, just talking to each other ,all of them smiling and appearing to be laughing. underneath each was a subscript that read from left to right THE FATHER, THE SON, and THE HOLY GHOST. and it does seem in a rock and roll sense that bob is sort of some kind of father figure to the rock of the 60's and throughout. from jimi hendrix's clearly stated admiration to jack whites words of taken inspiration from bob dylan, he was and is a force in the music industry. to sum it up, yea i like bob dylan, nashville skyline and blood on the tracks/time out of mind are killer albums.

love his music, not crazy about his singing. Love all the "covers" done by Hendrix,Byrds. Very powerful lyrics and great tunes. He has made musical history and will always be known as a great musician!
Have any of y'all heard anything off the new Dylan album yet?
I've heard one cut, and it seemed very listenable to me.
I've always regarded Zevon as a well above average songwriter, as well as John Lennon.
However,
Nothing either one of them did in their later years seemed to stack of to their earlier works.. in my opinion.
There is a lot of Dylan I don't particularly care for,and it's unlikely we'll ever hear any thing like the " Highway 61 Revisited" album, but he can still put out material that is good.
