Last year I had this PT job with a company here. The company went down owing to the recession which was a pity because I enjoyed the job very much.

Anyway TAX thing came along and after asking so many times for this damned bit of paper my employer sent it by Email!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So then I assume you know what this means? Anyone who intercepted that Email got my SS/Address/Location/Name.

Thoughts......

And if you were born in a U.S. Hospital within the last 35 or 36 years. They have your DNA stored away.

Since it was last year, if you haven't noticed any unusual activity on your credit report, and you haven't received any out of the ordinary junk mail (USPS or email), you may not have anything to worry about... With it being from last year, I would think that anyone who would have wanted to use your info probably would have used it already.

Check with you local Social Security office or police station for more professional advise though, just to be safe. :D Hope this is helpful or reassuring.

This is out of character for me and I don't know why I'm doing it anyway here it goes, call you bank and tell them to put a lock on your accounts, ( the bank will explain what that means and does) call the credit card company and do the same, repeat procedure with any financia institution involved in transacting monies from your accounts.

If a fraudulent credit card is issued under you name don't worry your signature won't match but do notify the CC company as soon you get an invoice or a bill.

Say was your employer from Texas?

You know String, this is out of charactor for what we've seen of you, and I'm happy to see this part of you. This is what the forum is about; we're all here to help and support each other.

I'm not going to acknowledge the little tidbit you wrote about me, other than to say that I misunderstood the thread when I originally read it. Read it again, and now I get it. :) Good looking out for the Chipper!

See, you guys in RI aren't so bad after all! :D Cheers buddy! Here's to positivity and open mindedness in the future!
