Yes, welcome Debbie. And, about the troll bashing, join in but don't let a troll get you upset. Just look at his writing as the ignorant ranting of someone so miserable with their own life that they want everyone else to be just as miserable...AND THEN HAVE SOME FUN WITH IT. :) It's like having your own personal whipping boy around.
Ok, sorry 'bout that. I had just gotten off of a thread with him and was still caught up in the moment.
Anyway, I listened to a couple of your tunes and will listen to more later, but you play the guitar better than a lot of singer/songwriters that just play it to help with the writing.
So, just jump in here with both feet. There's a lot of knowledgeable people on here and most are willing to help out fellow musicians. Ask me anything, and if I don't know the answer, I'll make one up. :)

Debbie, great songs, great voice. you have got it goin on girl. I really liked If "I Could Only Cry" it has a real strong Neal Young sound to it. Was Neal Young an influence on your writing and playing styles? Good luck to you and welcome to bandmix.

Welcome! I can't listen to your stuff here at work, but I'll check it out tonight.

I used to live right across the "hand" from you. :) I lived in the Grand Rapids area for a little while.

Ok, maybe I should be told the name of this troll....so I can hunt him down and torment him in a way only an experience tormentor can  Trust me, I raised three kids, worked with the public, and had three really crappy marriages...so, I think my skin is quite thick and can handle any troll that waddles my way.

Thanks for the offer..I will certainly keep you in mind.

Thank you and yes, Neal Young was a very big influence in my musical background. Bob Dylan...all those folk type musicians that wrote songs that really had meanings. That is what I strive for every time I write a song.

thank you for your comments...

well, welcome to the forums Debbie, I'll have to check out your music later, it's about time to go for today.

And yeah, you'll know the trolls when you see them, just look for the one insulting everyone in sight for no apparent reason. I think you'll find 3 or 4 current threads, so there's no shortage of bashing going on at the moment. I pretty much stay out of it, but occasionally I have to drop in and make them look like fools, it's just such fun...unfortunately they usually have all the intelligence of a hockey puck so that kind of lessens the challenge.
