I think he got the wrong idea. The people who put up a quick profile with no audio or contact info are usually too stupid or lazy or both to even check out the forum. You'd be hard pressed to find someone on this forum who don't have at least one of those things. Some don't have audio because they're not set up for it yet. The people you are writing your rant to won't ever see it because they won't be on this forum.

I have to agree with Guitar x. If a musician is truly serious about playing music you would think they would use all resources possable that means including a web address and or phone no.( come on people get it together!!)

I am such a moron that my bandlink that is on my profile page and the signature line of every post I do has contact info, no scratch that. It is a direct Email link to my band and booking. I have had no problem building my band by contacting Bandmix members and have booked shows with Bandmix members.
Perhaps those whom have to have a phone number in order to accomplish anything are just smarter than the rest of us.
