Floydfest

I got invited to play Floydfest by the boss himself. It is a large 4 day festival in zxyz's neck of the woods. Blues Traveler and one of my Favorites GRACE POTTER are playing there this year.
I invited Kris Hodges, the boss, to come see me at the Taubman Art Museum in Downtown Roanoke (that was my most important gig coming up). I sent him the following video and he asked me to play Floydfest!!! STOKED!

I saw Grace Potter and the Nocturnals opening for Govt. Mule in Little Rock last year. She puts on a hell of a show. Killer vocals and she got to play the B3 that Mule had. And she ain't no poser when it comes to guitar either.

2010 don't have the day yet. I'll only ask for it to not be on sunday. You should just tool on down the mountain on July 10th to the Taubman. That one will be free!

Well, let me just say if HE offered me this opportunity on Sunday, I'd praise HIM all the way to the stage !!

I'll take Sunday if it's my ONLY option. I'd consider it necessary work at that point. I'm trying like crazy to have my talents pay for my babies. Sometimes (especially in the medical field sans) you have to work during worship.

That is a fact Paul. After working weekend doubles for about 3 years or so I am a little selfish with my weekends.
But as you are aware the Sabath was made for man, not the other way around.
I also consider when we play a "worship", I pray he helps me keep a right mind when it comes to this.

Wow. I didn't floydfest was that pricey. I knew it was higher than it should be. We'll try to make the Taubman then. Thanx.
