Old job as new job ?

Well my friends looks like my unemployment streak is about to end.
Talked with my ex boss lady this morning and it would appear I will be working in the Ortho Rehab again on a PRN basis. She is an awsome lady and has always gone to bat for me with the evil wizards in the ivory tower.
This could be just the ticket to help with the bills, spend time with my two teen sons this summer and still be able to book shows with the band.
She said she would love to have me back because I am such a strong nurse clinically. She also said she was not going to tolerate my TUDE.
Well, God help me. Perhaps if I can stay focused on my long term goal the BS wont make me twist off n make an ass of myself. (again)

Good luck with your job situation there Sans. Sometimes we have to swallow our pride to survive this thing called life. It doesn't make it any easier though does it? LOL one thing I have noticed is I have never had the perfect job there is always something, one little thing that sometimes makes it feel almost unbearable. But I guess if everything was perfect we wouldn't be happy with that either because we would be spoiled.

Best of providence to you. Perhaps if you get that urge to fire back with TUDE, you instead write it down and use it in a song - you know, divert the energy to something creative instead of self-destructive :)

Thanks guys!

Chris, my man, you may be onto something there!
I always have my notebook with while I nurse.
Of course Ray will have to edit my language, as usual. :D

Pride and anger most always go before my falls in life.
But this time, yes I have a plan woohahaaa.
With any luck (and a lot of support from my wife) I should have my own shop up and running by the end of 2010. 8)

Very cool George! I just completed my first week at my new job. Feels good to be making real money again. I had to put a couple of bands on the backburner but so be it.

Yea, Jimmy I was wondering how that was going for you.
You know bro, we gotta do what we gotta do.
Besides no fun having a few days off with no change to play on.

Texas is still quite financially healthy. Some layoffs here and there sure but some businesses are growing. Lots of snowbirds and westerners (CALIF) coming looking for work.
Thats cool. I just hope they realise the reason Texas is doing well is due to a strong work ethic a belief in doing for yourself, and helping your neighbor without government interference. I can hand my bud $100.00 to help him between jobs, and he gets the whole $100.00. If the beurocrats are in the middle he'll be lucky to get fifty cents out of that $100.00
If they import too much of that sit on your ass and let someone else pay your way TUDE, well we could end up a shiz house just like Calif.

lol

That's just like the commonwealth of PA.

They really mean it.

I.e> you go to jail and if someone sends you 100$, you might see 60 of it.

Get it? Common-Wealth? It's enough to make you behave. lol
