Searching for an inexpensive, yet professional output on sound and quality headset microphone with the receiver included in package. Have priced some 'shure' brands like the THS model. Would like your input on this devise. Looking for something that will enhance my singing and not interfere with the sound on my guitar. I basically sing lead worship, there is four of us in the band, yet besides me the only other musician is the drummer. Also interested in finding a keyboardist that has a heart for the things of GOD in the East Texas area
Really need some feed back on this headset thingy though, thanks

 you'd think with as many views as this particular topic has had pass it, that someone one would have some sort of information concerning wireless headsets. Surely I am not the only guitarist out here that's in a band and desires to use a headset for a microphone???? If your in a band or have been in a band and you've used a headset mic or have used one before, give me some feed back, what the best one out there within a reasonable limit of funds.

Check out the Audio Tech (I think that's how it's spelled) brand. They're inexpensive & good enough for just starting out...& they ain't all that cheap either, but they're cheaper than Shure....

I've been looking around Broken.
Here is a shure headset and like Phil says they are not cheap.

An Audio Techniqa is on this list.

Hope this helps. :D

Mary

You can never go wrong by investing in the best you can possibly afford.
Better to float a loan for the bestest, than have to replace seconds.
Good luck with the Keys. I will keep my ears open for you. 8)

Audio Technica is the one I believe Philby is talking about. They have several models of varying prices, but the cheapest ones will sound too tinny as they don't have a low enough frequency response. They need to go down to about 80 hz to really get a full vocal sound.

This seems like a pretty good deal here:

who's mary? My name is Tracy LOL
anyways thanks for the feedback, I thing though after talking to my pastor and the drummer, we are just going to try to make ends meet with a boom stand, so that they can get the mic in front of me without me running into it. I did however find a shure THS that included the receiver for $228.00 at a music store out of Florida, I might be saving for that one myself. Anyways thanks for all the feed back

Yeah I guess it does sound funny now that you mention it. It just that we have 2 extra's in the band but they only sing. I guess when I think of a band I think of people playing instruments and backing up the lead singer if they sing also, yet with out band its like we have the singers and only two of us do the playing. LOL can't help it LOL it's got to be my dyslexia
