Informing us of new music up is not pimping. It's what this place is all about. But, if it makes you feel any better, we'll start calling you Pimpmaster MH10. :) I could totally hear Blue Oyster Cult doing that song. I was trying to figure out what it reminded me of and then at about 2 minutes into it, that little break in there stimulated what few memory cells I have left and I thought, "Oh, yeah. BOC, early days." Not that it's that dated, just the lyrics and chord progression are cool and different, like BOC (incidentally, they're one of my favorite bands). Way to go Pimpmaster MH10!!! :D

Ok pimp, I was not certain which song was "new" so I gave a listen to them all. I like what your doing musically. Judging from Ratsass comment the "new" one must have been the third on the profile.
Good job, and thank you for serving your corner of the Bandmix street so well.

Thanks for the listen...yes track 3 in the newest. Please understand these are just homemade demos. So there are a few issues with the songs. Like mixing and mastering. No mastering and not much mixing have been done.
Again thanks!!!

You have a unique sound. It's tough to do everything yourself, & the little timing thingies drove me nutso when I did it.

You almost remind me of David Byrne meets mellow side of the early Beatles, & I don't know why so don't ask me...keep at it.

Pimp away. As soon as I started listening to the first song I thought it sounded a little like John Lennon singing. I think a full electric band behind you with some power could bring those songs to fruition....

Eww you scumbum, I didn't like the first tune, so I went to #2 and you sound an awful lot like J. Garcia. lol

I don't know if it's revulsion at the genre or shock at how close he sounded to Jerry.

(The Dead are yet another show I go "just for the show" and not for the music) lol

I have been working with a band on these. But just started. Im in another bar band that plays a lot so time is a factor.
I do even have recording of using working on 3 songs. But they wont see the light of day. Pretty raw. But we have been invited to play with the new band at a couple places. Doing just an hour set. All have agreed to play .
That will get recorded and video recorded. Hopefully I can post some of that. But it will have to be the is summer. Thanks the listen though. and the comments!!!

Ive been told that before about j Garcia on this song. I didnt mean to, But it happened. I was trying something that had a 1930's flav to it.
But sorry about the genre. I understand here you are coming from.

I agree those are a few of my favorite bands and writers. So it doesnt surprise me that it comes across that way. Im getting better at drums so the timing will get better. These are just fast made home demos. I bet I did a total of 5 takes on each track and nothing is really mixed. But thanks for the listen!!!

ach The remark about sounding like Jerry is not negative..

THAT is something could prove to be extremely lucrative in the future for you.
