Hi everyone im brand new to this forum and i am tring to get my band profile to show up in the band add padge, can anyone help point me in the right direction? I already have a profile

I would start by changing this line: "we are a very musical band." It's kind of a tuatology. If you are trying to get like-minded musicians interested in contacting you to be in your band, there seems to be quite a few complaints on this board about not having a sample of your music to listen to. Listing all of your influences is a start, in that it gives others a gist of your style, but I think every metal band lists Metallica so that doesn't really say much.

As for having your ad "show up", I think there is a check box in your profile that says something along the lines of "make my profile searchable" or active or something like that.

For some reason, that actually peaks my interest.. if for nothing more than a band slogan that's kind of a play on words, makes you wonder if it's either brilliant or stupid, but I'd go listen to the music based on that alone, fwiw.

I often wonder if much of the brilliance we see on display these days isn't actually un-reasearched stupidity. Hey, if it works ^.-
