I just posted covers of Bach's "Minuet in G Major", The Mamas and the Papa's "California Dreamin'" and The Beatle's "Norwegian Wood". What can I say, it's a rainy Monday and I was bored.

Diggin' California Dreamin'....but could you bring the drums up a bit? The guitars sound cool, but they are so overpowering...but the 'tude is knockin' me out.

Jimmy, nicely done, I LOVED the layered and harmonized guitar parts covering all the different vocal harmonies on California Dreaming.. Very well done, tasty is the word of the day.

THIS is the way to do a cover, YOUR WAY. We take blues instrumentals and add vocals from another cover song to. We take great lyrics from lame songs musically and create our own music to IMPROVE the song. On my profile page I Got My Mojo Working has a lot of original ideas (adding an accordian mode, layered ending, off-beat country rhythm). If you listen to a cover tune but HEAR SOMETHING different, then DO IT. I just love hearing something creative from experienced musicians. Good job Joewilk also, welcome to Bandmix...
