I finally got my hands on some stuff that's fresh out of post production -- mixed, mastered, and awesome! :D Check out my profile. There are two songs by Goose (the artist that did "Dancing With Athena" that a lot of you liked) and on song by Amber Dawson (contemporary Christian artist). These songs are copywritten by the respective artists. If any of you are interested in purchasing their albums, let me know.

I am the bassist on all of the tracks, and I happen to be playing the same bass on all of the tracks: my Traben Chaos Obsession 5-string (www.trabenbass.com).

When I heard the first song, the silent one, I thought uh oh, not too sure about this. The singer goes flat in the verses. Kinda surprising the Engineer didn't help her out a little more.

But then I heard the other 3 and I was very impressed. Really good professional stuff.

I'm glad that you guys like it! I had to remove the gospel song because I thought that I had permission to put it up, but I was mistaken... If I do get permission from the artist, I'll post it back up. The other 3 are still up though. I'll rotate songs in and out as I get more material out of post.

Good tunes, man. I wondered how you got your screen name. Thought maybe ya wore corduroy pants. :) After listening to these songs, I see. You stay in the pocket, stay in the groove. Good smooth bass playing.

I like corduroy, but that's not it. ;)

I operate my bass session business under the name Pocket Grooves because that's where the bassist belongs -- grooving in the pocket. :) I'm glad you like the music, and I appreciate the compliments. As more material becomes available from post prod, I'll rotate new songs in.

I checked the songs, and I was able to load them from my profile page; I'm not sure what happened. If the songs don't play this time for some reason:

They're WMA files. You have to click the "audio/video tab, then click on a song.

Pocket Grooves, all you have to do is convert the files to mp3 and they'll load into the player.

At the request of the recording artists, I have pulled the aforementioned music files off Bandmix. There are some good music files availble through my MySpace page: www.myspace.com/pocketgroovesgso. I have 3 songs from one of my clients on my page, and you can go to my friend's pages to hear samples of their music. I will be working with my studio to get samples of work to post in the future. Thanks to everyone for your understanding.
