I'm not one to complain but...

A few weeks ago I got a spider bite on my right bicep. It blew up to about five inches in diameter and was fluorescent scarlet and purple with a huge volcanic looking bump in the middle. I had numerous people tell me to go right to the emergency room. I ended up going to the naturopathic doctor and have been taking natural herbal remedies. thank God it is much smaller than before. Just when this looks better I get this horrific soar throat (can't sing at all) and my head feels like it was hit by a two by four. Then my back went out and I had to go to the chiropractor. I guess bad things come in threes, hopefully there won't be a fourth. And on top of this my day gig is DEAD in this economic downturn. No business to speak of (I'm self employed). Things have to get better. Hopefully you all are having a better last two weeks than me...

Dang, Bob. I hope things turn around for ya. At least you have the makings of a good blues song in there somewhere.
Well, a spider bit my biceps, Oh Lawd, it's startin' to swell.
My throat's so sore, I can't sing anymore, and my head it hurts like hell.
My job, it bit the dust, and I think I'm goin' bust.
But my guitar, yeah, yeah....still rings like a bell. 8)

But can you still fish?

Sounds like you're getting some of that ol' "Philby Bad Luck Syndrome," also known as PBLS. Hope it doesn't last as long as mine has, bob.

Take it easy on the pipes as long as you need to. Take care of that nasty bite. Let the back heal. It's prolly just as well you don't have too much work to further exascerbate your back troubles, man, so try to look at that as a small favor from above, & hope things get better as you get better.

Good luck.

My gf got bit by a brown recluse last summer and ended up in the hospital for five days. I wrote "Poison" as a result (the lyrics are on my Influences tab). Always remember that no matter how bad it gets there are people in worse shape.

So... you're the new spiderman? Just kidding.

You should've gone and let em "pop" it for you and clean it up. Hope you feel better. My last 2 weeks were quite busy to say the least. Finished my finals now, so I'm a bit more relaxed.

All these ailments and I still play music, still fish, still throw plastic, and still work when I can, it's just miserable to do stuff. I wish I was still in school. It seems like a hundred years ago I was going to school full time. Those were the good old days. I hope you're enjoying it Andragon.

Man you could not pay me to go back to school. Years of learning pointless bullshit.
If the colleges were about education, you could learn what you really needed to know in a few months.
