I told ya'll this would happen. Last Tuesday someone posted this and the weather here was beautiful. Hows the weather there it is raining and terrible here. I can't set in my backyard and watch the hummingbirds this weekend, as he is whimpering and sniveling LOL.
My plans for the weekend (finally no gigs) I have this weekend off, I am going to hit the music room and practice and learn a bunch of new songs.

I know what ya mean, Mr Haley. The rain is supposed to hit us tonight and carry on through tomorrow just to screw my Saturday up. :( I live in a small, old house and sometime in the past it had a backroom added to it. They just took the window out that goes to it and left the opening which connects to my bedroom and I just put curtains up to cover it. The back room has a tin roof on it and when it rain, well, it's like VALIUM to me. Boy, can I sleep when it's raining. :o ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!

That was me Haley sorry. :(
Like you guys work has pretty much dried up to an extent....... Well there is nothing on the books at all.

That goes for Music too at present because what with the above I'm not able to get what I need even to rehearse with a band much less Gig.

The good news for me is that Monday will be another rainy day which will probably make Tuesday seem like Monday x 3 :D

Hope it works out for you guys as I'm sure it will for me sometime soon.
Keep well folks.

Chippy

RatsAss, that reminds me of when I was a boy my grandparents had a place in Norphlet Arkansas just outside of ElDorado and I used to spend as many summers there as I could they had a farm there and I just loved being there. In fact that is where I first learned to play guitar. The summer of 1970 a neighbor that was about 3 years older than me had an old acoustic and a Mel Bay chord book he loaned me for the summer by the end of three months I had calouses and could play 3 chord progressions in all keys (1,4,5 progressions).
Anyway my grandparents house was old like that, the back porch had a metal roof and they had no A.C. the windows were always open and man I would sleep good when it rained breathing that fresh country air. :)

It already feels like a Monday to me. It's as grey as a worn out pint glass out there. Could be the ideal music day is those damned roosters would leave me alone
