Sore from head to toe, and glad to be alive. She walked out of the hospital last night around 9pm.
The air bags did not even deploy.

She was sitting still on a State Highway waiting for a break in traffic to take a left turn. Hit by a 70's model Ford pick-up.
She called me from the ambulance while imobilised to a back board.

This is the second totaled vehicle this woman has walked away from.
Kinda makes me wonder about her.

Wow! She's one lucky woman, sans! Glad to hear she's okay, but you still need to watch her for spinal stuff that shows up later &...listen to me giving the nurse guy med advice! HAH! You know what to do, my friend, & I have faith you'll do it. Just good to know she's okay.

Yeah, Sans, glad she's ok and I pray that she doesn't have any troubles with it later down the road.

Damn! Thats one torn up corolla. My xwife and I got rear-ended by a guy doing about 60 (the witnesses said- and I believe 'em, seeing him coming up in my rear view mirr.. long story) -- So glad she isnt hurt too badly. My neck still aches tho. She may not feel it at 1st, but years later.. but, yeah, you're the medical expert... Really good that it wasnt more serious.

Thank God for crumple zones, otherwise she would have absorbed much more energy than she did. If that accident had occured thirty years ago she would have fared much worse. Hopefully she recovers fully from this accident.
