Anyone else ever try this. Sometimes when I think the drums need a little more depth, and can't get what I'm after via reverb, I'll just transfer them from my Tascam to the computer, then back to a couple of channels in the Tascam using Windows Media Player with the SRS WOW effects turned on. Best not to over do it, but I find it works better to use a little more than you think you'll need because once all the other tracks are added it becomes less obvious.

Ouch!

Those FX are dodgy haha. Hats off to you for ingenuity and courage though!

I use an old alesis quadraverb for FX track adds, almost equally ballsy haha, but if I didn't use it for that, it would be a total doorstop at this point

Drums are an instrument too and need both depth and undertones. I'd love mine to sound Cantona with resonance and am still working on that.

Good luck with it.

I added a tune for an A/B comparison...An earlier bass/drums/lead guitar take of All Along The Watchtower (#1). I took that and ran it thru the SRS WOW, then added an acoustic rhythm guitar and some hand percussion to it to get the other version
