I made the team

:D through the lady that I met regarding my cd's earlier this month, I was introduced to a pastors wife seeking a guitarist for their worship team. This morning I went and played at her church and was accepted as one of the team members. So I decided to change churches and become the lead guitarist and singer in this band. Plus to top it off, the church is going to back my music and help me in every way they can to get it out.
This morning I was somewhat shy and nervous as all get out because I wasn't sure I could play lead guitar, I've always followed others in the past, but it didn't take me long to learn where my fingers were suppose to go and I was able to pick up on the notes when the rest of the band was lost. I also was able to sing a special this morning, which I sang 'IN HIS PRESENCE' which is one of the songs I have on myspace. The drummer really liked it and wants one of my cd's, he also mentioned me coming with him and his wife to other churches where he plays as well, it's just so cool really, it's amazing how things fall into place when God is put first in one's life. Thanks again bandmix members, I couldn't of done anything of this had I not signed up with bandmix.

Are they looking for a wailing lead guitarist that will knock them right out of their pews! Hell, I'll even throw in some of my death metal leads along with some of my famous "teeth playing" skillz!
