Welcome Mike.
Glad to see you have already taken time to post up some music on your profile. Not my preference as for genre' but welcome music just the same.
Are you singing and playing on the cuts you have on your profile?
Just trying to get a feel for whom you are.

I'm actually only singing, I've played guitar for about 20 years but I have to be honest the music is karaoke tracks. I'm presently trying to get a band together so hopefully I can get that updated soon.

It's all good Mike.
We (the forum regulars) enjoy people posting exanples of what they have going on ASAP. How they get it done is irrelivent as long as it's not someone trying to pass off others work. These boys and girls are pretty sharp when it comes to music. Not much gets past the boards.
Be sure you let us know when you post new stuff or make changes.
We get into all kinds of subject matter.
But we're all about the music.
Best of luck on you projects.

Damned good voice for your choice of genre, man.

Love that depth you put into the tune, Mike, & you have a good range. I'd work with ya in a second.

Were the b/u vox on the karaoke CD, or did you happen to sing them too?

Work on your breathing/phrasing just a touch more, k? So far you're doing pretty well, but you almost lose your breath in a spot or two, & it affects your power. Also, be careful about your choice of key to sing in. There's times you have to go too low, & you lose me there.

Now put up some live stuff with you playing your rhythm & singing, all alone, cuz that's what I wanna hear.

Good luck & welcome to the forum.

Thank you for the welcome guys, and I appreciate the compliment Phil! The back up vocals were part of the CD, and thank you for all the constructive criticism!! I have never had a formal lesson and I actually just started singing again two months back and I need all the help I can get!

Yeah I'll say.. talented.. uh-huh..

I don't like the genre, but I think the way you're doing it really is something special.

If you can sound good to someone that doesn't like your style of music, you are doing something that not many people can do..

I liked the first and last tracks the best. If it was strategic, it worked.
