Hey We are new to this forum and would like to take the chance to introduce ourselves and not be strangers lurking in the background. We are Ready.Set.Die from Vancouver, BC and have released one album last year on Itunes and are on our way to releasing our new EP. Well...you have the enthusiasm, but I have to disagree on one point - it DOES matter if it's in key...LOL...that's what makes it MUSIC

Punk's not my thing, rock is, but it sounds like you've got your sound down pat. Good luck!

Well if you really think about it there really isnt that much difference in punk and rock. Rock is generally riffs and power cords and punk is alot of powers and just plain cords and quite a bit of loop overs. The drums are normally quite the same in most punk bands though. I try to keep a wide arange of stuff i can scream-o but i play punk alot and its really quite injoyable. Blink-182 is probably like the funnest band to be in.
