just cuz he sent me a link to a band that I couldn't actually consider though they needed a bassist, I'm nowhere near nyc bro but thanks for the thought has any one else gotten this kind of response from this site? I mean sheesh most people would assume oh, they gotta know bout that project, now if only I could get my act together myself

I just dont think you will find a more concerned and co operative group of musicians on line than what we have right here, right now.
I mean damn, some of these guys have opened there homes to total strangers. For the sake of music and friendship.

hmmm that is beautiful, then again musicians are a breed apart from your average human being, we have to know a lil about nearly everything (unless its a singer who had everything handed to them from a young age) and we still need to be able to play an isntrument

I have to second that. I even feel like this is one of the places where my "friends" hang out, and I stop in to see em regularly.
No pretentious Rockstars here. Just good open minded artist's & musicians that are willing to help when asked and support each other in many ways. It really is a community here!
