I'm new here and dont know what to expect....basicly I'm looking for something that I gave up on in the past...that is, internet collaboration.

For some reason it never worked for me in previous attempts !!!

I got to know some very nice people...and got to write a few songs with them...but after a little while everything got too VIRTUAL...just like the net itself... and ended up not lasting.

That said...I'm here again with a new perspective but the same goal of finding somebody that loves music as much as I do...you know...somebody that feels the same and will not be afraid of tryng a new chord..rewrite a verse or stay one hour more rehersing. Something REALLY rare these days.

I only do christian music...thats what I believe and where my passion lives.

Lately I'm sort of not playng or singing a lot...my computer based studio is a little dusty too....because I realized I was romming in circles musically speaking. Sometimes I think it's better to give it a time and emerge later with fresh new ideas.

Well...I think I'm talking too much....so if you write lyrics.... melodies... arrangments... play something... I'm interested in it all... drop me a line! In about 1 year I'll be moving to Nashville... I have about 70 songs that I've written... some of which I'd like to use... but I'm always open to writing and collaborating on new, fresh material... so... bring it on!!!!

What kind of collaborating are you referring to? Writing? Composing? Some friends and I are in the process of doing a little of both. I just finished my first complete song a couple of weeks ago. :D Too bad you live so far away, It's hard to do things long distance.

blair here.i agree with only doing christian stuff. its not worth the bother without it.i write some but have trouble putting music to my stuff. heres the corus of one song.

four gray walls are all that surround me
ive got nothing but time om my hands
i put my hands together and drop to my knees
and say, Lord take me here i am.

i do a jail ministry, thats why i wrote that song. it also has two verses.if you think its any good let me know.

i like it can tell by the lyrics that its probably got a good rock beat to it.
keep rocking for god. i got to play with someone thats going to play at the jail with me once a mth he cant make it the other weeks. but it was fun and got to play electric and acoustic together.
