My Singer and I were just tooling around with Zep tune because he just purchased some recording equipment.... We did this song with me on Bass and guitar and him on vocals and drums.... Just did a line into the board through a single channel from my little 30 watt amp with no effects at all..not even reverb... Did have the overdrive up though...thats it... We just wanted to hear what the dryest recording would sound like with nothing else added... I can't wait till we start adding effcts and record in stereo and produce the sh¡t out of our stuff.... over dubbing the guitars and doing harmony leads and all that fun stuff!

Dude,

That sounds great. Its a little too gainy on the guitar in my opinion, but damn you have great feel on the solos, especially the run down toward the start of the last section. Those always give me fits.

Cant wait to hear a full on version thats been mixed and added the effects.

You are a hell of a bass player, dude. My bassist is great but always bitches about some of those runs.

Good Job, also thats a great lined out sound. Ive never done good with the line outs on my amps.

Ya know what that "too gainy" sound is? It's the little solid state... When we seriously record, I'm going to go through an all tube amp.. difference will be night and day... That's why it sounds so "dry".

The singer hasn't a clue on how to work this thing... gonna take a lot of experimenting...that's what makes it even more enjoyable....can only get better each time!
