I've been away for a long time, but I return to you all now with an updated profile and *FOUR* new vocal demos!
One is a cover of Whitechapel's "Vicer Exciser", two are covers of Born of Osiris' songs, the other is a cover of "Laid to Rest" by Lamb of God. The quality isn't perfect cause I had to use some software to remove the vocals, so it lowered the quality...But I'm happy with the way they turned out.
LISTEN TO THEM NOW! ALL THE WAY THROUGH! EVERY SINGLE ONE!
AAAAR!

Hey,
Welcome back! Ya got some good mixes going on there. The vocals were clear and had good fequency response in the sonic spectrum. Did ya use any vocoding, or resonant filtering to get some of those vocal sounds?
Good job !
John

Nope, the vocals are all me...no effects except for Vicer Exciser. Check out the end of Brace Legs where I do that weird thing with my voice that kinda sounds like a pig...Those are called Pig Vocals or "Pig Squealing" and was originally used in the mid '80s in hardcore music, then was adopted by death metal. It's a hard skill to master, but I'm famous for my pig squeals or
"Bree's".

Welcome back Ryan. You have shown inmprovement in your chosen genre'. Forgive me for saying I just cant get into it. I dont understand the attraction to the vocal style at all.
That does not stop me from wanting all the best for you however.
Keep working, good to hear from you.

Man, Ryan, I think you've nailed it. Not really, my thing, either, but even so-good job.
On a lighter note, I'm afraid I couldn't join any band that would ask me to "Squeal like a pig"!
