Grammy's Never Fail To Disappoint

I try to avoid the Grammy's but it's like a train wreck, you have to watch. Most of the performances were weak with a capital Suck. Even the Radiohead moment was an abortion. The exception was McCartney backed by the Foo Fighters; it was cool to see Grohl on drums again. I think Sir Paul must have read all the bad Springsteen reviews from last week and decided to kick it up a notch.

what are these grammy's you speak of? I didn't know I was supposed to be concerned with mainstream music....maybe I'll look up the Foo fighters bit...but enh, I never liked the beatles and am not amazed by the fighters

I enjoyed Kidd Rocks performance. I guess after playing in Honky Tonks the past yr or so, thats all you hear on the jukeboxes in my area. When I have a night off I go play pool alot and hear thoe Rock N Roll Jesus songs all night long.
We get a great response to the song So Hott, kind of sets the tone for our band.

Somehow I manage to miss them every year...I still get the highlights on all the "news" shows, though. They all seem so youth-oriented it's never been worthwhile to me. I'm interested in the greats, & it's a damned shame that although Peggy Lee got a lifetime achievement, she got no air time, & it's probably the last time we'll ever get to see her.

If Ronnie Van Zant were alive, he'd bitch-slap Kid Suck across the mouth.

OMG! I agree with the Capt! The planets must be aligned. We in Detroit have had to put up with Kid Cock a lot longer than the rest of you guys. He is absolutely the worst.
But back to the Grammy's. If I had to buy music based only on what I saw on that stage, I would buy nothing.

The only thing he ever did that was even half way descent was the acting he did in the movie Joe Dirt where he was hating on poor Joe Dirt
in the words of the late Howard Cosell (with that great Brooklin accent)
"folks a very mediocre talent"

Kid Rock is like a fing plague down here..
Every stupid kid is wearing his jeans baggy and quoting KID ROCK, it's enough to make you want to jump off of something tall.
I'd love to know what (&*^*&)^*)&^ decided that KID ROCK has what it takes to rip off LYNARD SKYNARD. (We should get his ass too)
