I'll bet I've "contacted" 20 people so far to get something going, and no one responds. Why bother? If you're not serious, take your profile down!

We're a casual band, having fun, gigging occasionally. We need a new vocalist. All these folks who say they want to sing in a band? I contact them, they don't respond.

Man thats funny. I am a real asshole, ask any of my friends and they will tell you. Yea he is a real asshole and you want him on your side.
I guess its like that when you see only black and white. There is no gray.
It's right or it's wrong. End of story, click click BANG ! And yes I apply the same logic in my own life. My dark side gives me strenght. My light gives me purpose and a future.
But thanks for the complement. If you were a little closer you could come hear us live. I like to rock !

Hey Triadster check out the fisherman bob profile page. We're looking for a lead guitarist. Know any legitimate guitarists in the K.C. area? I'll send you half the money that Bandmix charges for a premium membership to you AFTER you send me the name of a legitimate lead guitarist who ends up sticking with our band. Now how's that for a good deal? You prove to everybody here that you can deliver the goods and I hold my end of the bargain and send you half the money which is what you say you'll charge us for your new website.

This is just a guess... but part of the problem might be that the people your contacting might not have email privileges... and actually cannot email you back.

(of course.... this reasoning is assuming that you didn't add any contact info that was independant of bandmix... if you did .... then I have no idea).

yah if you don't put an email addy on your profile (one that you don't feel to much concern with) then you aren't gonna get any contacts from here, my problem was the gas crisis, and no money thing...otherwise the problem just would have been conflicting styles

Hey Mr. Triadster Records. Did you LISTEN to the songs on my profile page? Did you HEAR anything good there? Do you know I get radio play here in K.C.? I'm not bragging but I think I'm a better than average singer, a very solid bass player and a damn good songwriter. If you LISTENED to the songs then MAYBE you would come to the conclusion that there's POTENTIAL with the addition of a fine guitarist. Therefore you SHOULD come to the conclusion that it MIGHT be profitable for you to refer me an excellent guitarist. Your coming on Bandmix saying you can do this or that for us doesn't mean SQUAT if you never give any of us an example of what you can DO for us. I don't know how many words you've scribbled on these posts but it doesn't mean SQUAT if you don't take any ACTIONS to PROVE that you can DO what you say you can DO. Does that make any sense?
