is it possible to take power metal, toss the fantasy crapola, and put in a buncha sci-fi s*it? (sounds pretty rediculous if u ask me)

You can fuse metal with any (sub)genre apparently. It's crazy. Doesn't guarantee that it'll sound good though.

Boy I am notto sure bout Children Of The Sun. Aldo Nova on the other hand has some metal in it for sure.

As a side note I saw Billy Thorpe play Children Of The Sun live in Tyler at a old theater. He played some other stuff as well that night. When ol Bugs Henderson got on stage with them Billy looked overBugs shoulder, just shook his head and walked away. Freakin Bugs could play man.

Children Of The Sun ...

" The people of the earth stood waiting
Watching as the ships came one by one
Setting fire to the sky as they landed
Carrying to the world children of the sun, children of the sun "

Sounds SPACEY to me ...
