I thought I'd just ask around and see if someone could lend me $350 Billion dollars. I promise I'll pay it back. Hey if the boys in politics can do it, why not me, or you as far as that goes...

Oh god I can't resist (up on my soap box again).

You know it just befuddles me that us U.S. citizens are being led like sheep to slaughter, while our elected (by the people) politicians take a trillion of our tax dollars and give it to their friends. While simultainiously giving away the country that our "fighten men have fought and died to be" (hay that sounds like words to a hit song) already been done, Damn.
Anyway I read in the paper the other day even the porn industry is trying to get in on some of that bail out money, the sad part is they don't even know where the first 350 billion went, they forced the banks to take some of it and they spent it on aquisitions and bonuses. What happened to lending it so company's could meet their obligations and stay in buisness and keep Americans working?
I have come to the conclusion that thy are all just a bunch of LYERS! They tell us one thing and then while we aren't looking they give the money to their buddies.

Ask for a bailout. You won't need to pay it back. My taxes got you covered

I agree with you ... but as a robbed citizen, what choice did I have in the matter? I've always said to let em fail. They stole our tax money, and still foreclosed my neighbors at record rates, then yeah.. gave themselves bonuses and lavish vacations.

But I never, ever, said yes. I agreed with the auto-bailout, only because it wasn't a bailout, it would have been loans. I like the idea of earning interest on my tax dollars, and chrysler already proved that it can work out for everyone.

Giving lump sums of money to banks, because they mismanaged lump sums of money, and then making it no strings attached?!?! Just plain corrupted politicians. I'm planning on voting out ALL current politicians who represent me, and voting for the other guy, regardless of party, regardless of track record. If we keep voting these assholes out, maybe some truly decent folks might end up getting elected someday.

Yeah, hire SANS for bouncer... ..I finally watched that movie "Road House" all the way through.Made me think of SANS. Kickin ass and takin names.. .A measley 100$ free and clear would put me back in the game.I faired better as a alcoholic in the 80's than a sensible sober person in the 00's.

I'd settle for a lousy $500K.. that's only pocket change compared to the Trillions that the gov't is doing, right? It used to be millions, then billions now trillions, next I guess it's gonna be quadrillions.. How high can they go?

shoooot I'd be happy with anything more then pennies....broke as hell, unlike my strings (knocks on wood) hopefully those hold up for a while more
