Well folks, it's only 11 days into the new year, and...it sucks!
My uncle passed away Monday night from cancer. Wednesday morning, my aunt (his sister, not wife) was hit by a car and killed. My father lost two siblings in a period of three days. My girlfriend and I have spent the rest of the week holding our breath-her mother had blockage in her heart and spent 4 days in the hospital (she's home now, but her health was iffy to begin with).

It's one of those situations where I'm starting to add up every little annoying thing that happens and chalking it up to some kind of bad karma...except I don't believe in karma.

Hope everyone's year has begun better than mine. Sorry about whining, I've been keeping this stuff inside, but it just keeps building...

Yeah, everybody's saying it's gonna be a sucky year. Sorry to hear of your losses. My condolences. Bad karma, yeh. Maybe it can only get better from here? Hopefully/

joseph6 Vent. Keeping things inside is not good for anyone. I am sorry to hear that your new year so far was filled with death, not joy. But none of that is of your making. All you can do is live through it - you have no other choice. We all wish that this is the end of your misfortunes this year. The feelings boiling inside you - do not stuff them down or they will raise their head when you least expect it. Music is the most emotional form of art. Direct all your love and pain in to your music. All of it.

Let it out of there boy! Scream, cry, shoot something, just let it out!

It (the year) will have its ups and downs for us all.
But after all, it can only be what we make of it.

Sorry, Joseph. Trust that it will get better for you & your family. Keep the faith & do whatcha gotta do & you'll see yourself through these tough times.

Yeah, my heart truly goes out to you. But just think, if it were 2008, you'd have to live through this all over again. Trust that things will indeed get better and work towards that beliefe. I know, easier said than done...but somone's gotta say it. My mom has had a rough year so I can inderstand your girlfriend's concerns for her mom. Joseph take care and visit bandmix a lot.
