Any Musicians left alive in Tangi Parish La. after Katrina?
Posted: Sun Aug 27, 2006 11:31 pmMy old stomping buddies have either burned themselves out on crack, crank or alcohol or have given up music to take care of their families, which I can't fault them for that. Just checking to see who isn't in the musician obits in Tangipahoa Parish Louisiana. The home of Britney Spears, of course... I was involved in business and battling cancer but I've got to get back to playing like I used to. I'm 48 and have played rock, country and gospel but my passion is in doing the orginal thing. I play rythym and bass and have a small 8 track digital studio. There is something almost spiritual and healing about good music that gives joy to the bones. Give me a shout at kenawol@hotmail.com.
